We had highs, and we had lows,
And a hundred deadly blows—
Still we walk, our sights to the light,
Not trudge, not crawl, but fight.

There’ll be pain, like there’s always been,
But we’re going on, like we’ve always been.
We won’t give up, we won’t bow or cry,
Come what may, we will always try.

We’re but buds now, of future bloom,
But trust in us, there’s still time and room.
We’re but saplings, of forest giants,
But believe in us, we’ll soon be lions.

Wading through the unforgiving dark,
We stay our hopes true to the mark,
For we know, just around the corner is light—
And so till the end we’ll fight, we’ll fight.
